August 25, 2005 - Winona LaDuke was here for a reading from her new book, "Recovering the Sacred." She signed copies of the book and promoting Muskrat Coffee as well.
LaDuke lives on the White Earth Reservation in Minnesota. She is the Founding Director of the White Earth Land Recovery Project. She has twice run for vice-president of the United States on the Green Party ticket with Ralph Nader. In 1997, she was a Ms Woman of the year.

September 3, 2005 - Nate Jorgenson was here signing copies of his book, "Waiting for White Horses." Jorgenson's book is set in Minnesota's spectacular lake country, and is a story of trusted friendship, loss and recovery, love and redemption. Jorgenson lives in Minnesota. |
| September 4, 2005 - Dorothy Williams was here signing copies of "Yonder and Other Delights." Williams has had a place called Yonder on Palmer Lake for many years. The essays in her book were originally printed in the Christian Science Monitor. Now retired, Williams was a writer and editor for the Search Institute. |
