Yoga at Sister Wolf Tuesday mornings Each Tuesday morning, June 15 to August 10, we'll push back the displays, roll out out mats and practice yoga. Join us for this 45 minute session! Bring your own mat.
Taste of Dorset August 1 Your summer won't be complete without a visit to the Taste of Dorset! Our annual festival, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, Sunday August 1, features food, entertainment, games and more! We'll be selling smoothies in front of the building and streamlinging our coffee bar to serve you faster. Kerck Kelsey book signings July 27 Kerck Kelsey, author of Prairie Lightening, visited Sister Wolf and Beagle Books to sign copies of Prairie Lightening, an account of the fascinating life of William Drew Washburn.
A conversation with Michelle Hoover On July 22, the Women's Book group enjoyed a conversation with Michelle Hoover, author of The Quickening, via SKYPE.
Maureen Gibbon dined with Sister Wolf book groups Maureen Gibbon (below left), author of Thief, joined both women's group for a potluck and discussion of her book on July 1.

*Festival of Authors and Artists* Dorset's annual Festival of Authors and Artits, June 25, was a fun-filled celebration of Minnesota creativity! Authors and readers filled the store, with artists and musicians throughout town. (If you missed the event, we still have copies of the books in the store, many of them signed.) With us that day were: William Kent Krueger, Carl Brookins, Gayla Marty, Peter Bundy, Christopher Valen, Candace Simar, Larry Schung, Todd Boss, Dana Holm, Kurtis Scaletta, Bonnie Shallbetter, Arvid Williams, Nancy Leasman, Freya Manfred, Beth Solheim, Brenda Whiteside, Marisha Chamberlain, Tom Stetzler, Brian Duren, Mary Wingerd, Maureen Gibbon, Kent Nerburn, Richard Sederstrom, Jess Watnemo, Mary KnoX Johnson, Robert Siqveland, Joseph Plut, and Anton Treuer.


		An evening with poet Marlene Jezierski May 12
Marlene Jezierski		Marlene is a retired emergency nurse and passionate advocate for victims. She has written numerous articles and curricula about domestic violence, conducted seminars throughout and beyond Minnesota, and received awards and community recognition for her work. Senator Paul Wellstone invited her to Washington to testify on the impact of violence on women’s health. Complimentary copies of Marlene's book Beyond the Mirror are available at Sister Wolf Books and Beagle Books while supplies last.
