Dorset was the place for garage salers to be on September
12! Tables were set up throughout town, and restaurants were
ready to fuel hungry shoppers with the great food Dorset in
known for. Over 30 vendors plus our local businesses
combined to offer all sorts of treasures.
Labor Day Week-end

Yoga at Sister Wolf
Each Tuesday morning, from June 15 to August 10, we pushed back the displays, rolled out out mats and practiced yoga.
Richard Sederstrom at the Poetry Book Group
On August 6, Richard Sederstrom joined the poetry group, reading from his books Fall Pictures on an Abandoned Road and Disordinary Light.
Taste of Dorset
Patty Overson was with us on August 7, signing copies of Minnesota Minutiae and Tasty Foods Along Minnesota's Highways. Our Coffee Bar was a busy place during the Taste of Dorset! (See the crowds at DorsetMN.com.)

On July 27 Kerck Kelsey, author of Prairie Lightening, visited Sister Wolf and Beagle Books to sign copies of Prairie Lightening, an account of the fascinating life of William Drew Washburn.

Dorset's annual Festival of Authors and Artits was a fun-filled celebration of Minnesota creativity! Authors and readers filled the store, with artists and musicians throughout town. An evening with poet Marlene Jezierski May 12
Marlene Jezierski
Marlene is a retired emergency nurse and passionate advocate for victims. She has written numerous articles and curricula about domestic violence, conducted seminars throughout and beyond Minnesota, and received awards and community recognition for her work. Senator Paul Wellstone invited her to Washington to testify on the impact of violence on women’s health.
